Functions of DAB are as Follows:

•           Review of Vision, Mission of department.

•           Brainstorming session  of PEOs, PSOs, COs of department.

•           Defines current and future issues related to programme.

•           Develop/recommends new or revised PEOs, PSOs.

•           Recommends the proposals/requirements for effective implementation of DAB.

•           Provide guidelines in enrichment of curriculum and deployment of the same.

•           Analyze and evaluate program level gaps.

•           Recommends various assessment tools for measuring outcomes

•           Evaluates the attainment of PEOs, PSOs, POs and proposes necessary improvements

•           Recommends research and entrepreneurship guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities of DAB

  • The Committee interacts and maintains liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor the report of the DAB and progress of the program.
  • Develop and recommend new or revised goals and objectives of the program.
  • Review and analyses on the gap between curriculum and Industry requirement and gives necessary feedback or advice actions.
  • Monitoring of Course plan and delivery.
  • Verification of Faculty Dairy including Attendance Entry, Internal and AAT Marks, Syllabus Coverage, Identification of Slow Learners and above average performers and necessary actions.
  • Submission of report to the IQAC in the prescribed Performa.
