Formation of Internal Quality Assurance Cell-IQAC

In order to provides a vibrant work environment for its faculty members and staff. Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats (GIET), Bhubaneswar has reformed the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the following office bearers for as a quality sustenance measure which will work to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college. The communication is open and focus is on creating a flat organization where everyone has a voice and can be heard. We encourage participative development and performance-oriented culture.

Functions of IQAC:

  • To achieve academic and administrative excellence.

  • To develop strategies for curriculum delivery, quality in teaching-learning and research.

  • To facilitate the creation of a learner-centrist environment conducive to quality education and faculty development to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.

  • To Collect and analyze feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.

  • To organize national/state/university level workshops, seminars, conferences on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.

  • To document of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.

  • To develop and maintain institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.

  • To conduct periodically academic and administrative audit and its follow-up.

  • To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.

  • To enhance the quality of staff by promoting and encouraging overall faculty development.

  • To enhance Infrastructure for Teaching-Learning and Administration.
